Back Frame Optimization of a Large Radio Telescope Based on Force Cone Method

چکیده
A new research perspective is proposed to optimize the topology of truss structure by force cone method, which involves drawing rules and growth rules. Through comparison with mature variable density optimization effectiveness method verified. This kind simple easy understand (no need master complex structural design theory). Besides, it time-saving in finite element calculations, can obtain an optimized layout easily. By cone, its application on a large radio telescope's back frame shows that, compared existing one terms stiffness, Root Mean Square (RMS) precision, beam stress distribution, using has higher better RMS, more uniform stress, lighter weight.
